Ben Oude Kamphuis is living in San Francisco, but still is a crazy Dutchman. Crazy with football (we Dutch people sort of like the color orange...). Crazy with his '55 Chevy pick-up. And even more important, crazy about kids. His daily work is helping disabled kids. He wrapped all this together and left his california home half January for a 21,000 km (13,000 mile) trip down to Brazil for the World Championships Soccer that will see their kick-off today. And yes - believe it or not - he drove the full distance with the Chevy pick-up named 'Old Nellie'. Now what has all this to do with kids? Well on the way he has visited as many schools as possible to talk about racism and how football can help to fight it. Ben didn't need hi-tech to do the Frisco-Rio drive. His Chevy still has the original engine. And an AAA map plus the help of hundreds of people showing him the way made him arrive in time to see the match Holland-Spain, tomorrow Friday 13th. Er... well let's see if Ben's trip helped faith to join the right team...
