2023 Porsche 911 GT3 "Manthey Racing" | The Quail Auction 2026
Chassis No. WP0AC2A96PS271065
The 992.1-generation Porsche 911 GT3 was a defiant celebration of the naturally aspirated engine in a turbocharged era. Its free-revving 4.0-liter flat-six produced 502 horsepower and screamed to a 9,000-rpm redline, paired with a GT3-specific seven-speed PDK transmission capable of delivering zero-to-60 mph in as little as 2.7 seconds. Beneath the surface, a double-wishbone front suspension derived from the 911 RSR and 911 GT3 Cup racing cars, extensive carbon-fiber construction, and advanced aerodynamics transformed the GT3 into one of the most capable track-focused 911s ever produced while remaining remarkably usable on the road.
Seeking to elevate the GT3 even further, Porsche turned to Manthey Racing, its longtime motorsport partner and majority-owned engineering subsidiary, to develop a factory-approved performance package. Rather than chasing additional horsepower, Manthey focused on aerodynamics, suspension, braking, and unsprung weight. A larger front splitter with dive planes, revised underbody aero, enlarged carbon-fiber rear wing, rear diffuser, four-way adjustable coil-over dampers, and braided stainless-steel brake lines sharpened the GT3's already formidable handling.
The optional Manthey Lightweight Wheel Set reduced unsprung and rotating mass by more than 16 pounds. The results were undeniable. As Car and Driver observed after testing a Manthey-equipped GT3 against a standard example, "It bites at the tarmac and digs out a lead over the stock GT3 that it never surrenders." Porsche factory driver Kévin Estre later lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:55.737-more than four seconds quicker than a standard 911 GT3 despite no increase in engine output.
Finished in optional Arctic Grey, this 2023 911 GT3 was factory-fitted with an exceptional list of options. The interior is upholstered in Black leather and Race-Tex with GT Silver Deviated Stitching, and fitted with Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-Way), Chrono Package with Preparation for Lap Trigger, and BOSE Surround Sound System. The exterior was specified with a Carbon Fiber Roof, Exclusive Design Taillights, LED Headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Exterior Mirror Trim in Carbon Fiber, and the supremely useful Front Axle Lift System. At a point, this GT3 was fitted with the Manthey Performance Kit, adding its highly desirable aerodynamic, chassis, and brake enhancements along with its optional set of Manthey Lightweight Wheels in Semi-Gloss Black.
The clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report reveals it was originally sold via The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida, with numerous services and inspections and limited mileage added before being released from its original owner earlier this year. Offered today with just 2,400 miles at the time of cataloging, this stunning Manthey-enhanced GT3 answers a question that naturally followed the arrival of the 992.1-generation GT3: How do you improve one of the world's greatest driver's cars? Through painstaking refinements to its aerodynamics, chassis, braking, and unsprung weight-exactly where they mattered most.
