A Monégasque Renault

While on holiday in Southern-France our regular correspondent Karel Vermeer saw this Renault 4 Cabriolet. Only too bad the little car drove away just as Karel arrived, so he couldn’t talk to the owner. Still he managed to take these photos. We have never seen a cabriolet version of the Renault 4 before. Could this be a conversion by a specialist or is it home-made? Who can tell us more? By the way, the licence plate is issued in Monaco.
