A Muntz Mystery

Barnfinds we know, but have you ever heard of a cupboard find? We do now, as a friend gave us something he discovered behind old books... an original brochure for the Muntz Jet. Never heard of the Muntz Jet? We can't blame you, they are scare as hen's teeth, and supposedly only about 180 were made. It was a creation of Earl "Madman" Muntz, who bought the Kurtis-Kraft company, and restyled their roadster to his personal taste, making it a four-seater. But even more rare is this brochure. As it's in French, could it have been issued at the Brussels Auto Show where this one was exhibited (was that in 1954)? We wonder what happened to it. Was the Muntz shipped back to the US and does it still survive? Or is it somewhere in Europe? Tell us if you know!
