'Project' and 'Perfect' in new classics Pop-Up store



Due to frequent changes in legislation selling classic in Holland has become a real challenge. And only the better and more creative dealers will survive. A new and brilliant idea was launched last week by Potomac Motors that you may know from Techno Classica Essen as well. Owner Roy Bolks noticed the many vacant buildings along the highway and decided to try something new.

He hired a large building for one month and brought nearly 140 classics to this showroom with very different price and quality. It is a costly adventure. Rent, transport, insurance. Extra personal, or at least hundreds of extra hours. Yet so far it pays! The Pop-Up initiative was picked up on national tv and newspapers. Plus various local stations and about every car magazine that comes out in this part of the world. So the free publicity alone has covered most of the cost. And, according to a spokesman of Potomac Motors, visitor numbers and sales are above what they had hoped for!
