More news form the very heart of Pakistan. Earlier this week we reported about the Daimler Double Landaulette found there. Today we present you a convertible which we could not easily identify ourselves.
The photo was taken ( in the early seventies we guess) in front of the drugstore ( air conditioned!) at the "intersection of Kashmir Road and Haider Road". Our first impression is that we see a Autobianchi Primula Coupe in a convertible version. But we are hesitant as we cannot find a single picture of a cabrio like this. So we wonder, did we overlook something or is this possibly a local conversion? No matter what, there must be a good story behind the little Italian ending up in Pakistan. Would the car still be around?
