A sunny day at the beach

As we live quite close to the beach, we often take an old car for a spin and pass the shores. Most times it is crowdy with people who take a dive, get some sun or are standing on their surfboards. We love the whole surfing culture and often spot some old VW vans and other sixties cars.

The shown photo is from 1964 and gives an idea about the surf culture in Southern California. People who were seeking for a thrill and are looking for that one good wave. The beaches are beautiful as you see, as were the cars. It was a time of adventure, fun and making new friends.

The cars are still coming to the beaches, but will the owners still jump on their boards 55 years later? Or are they only dreaming about it and now wear a suit and drive a Tesla. Who knows!
