It won’t be long before the snow melts and the Alps shake off their last skiing tourists for this year's season. Behind that thick winter coat fresh green will appear, perhaps even displaying some hidden gems. The same goes for this lady, who’d replaced her winter coat with something lighter by the time. Her car? BMW’s odd 600 – a four-wheeler meant for satisfied Isetta owners who never the less wanted something slightly more serious, stronger and roomier. Swiss police officers will put you behind bars for parking it there now, but not in 1957 – the year the 600 was launched. It didn’t become the success BMW hoped for, though. Other than their three-wheeled, egg-shaped Isetta its successor was considered too strange and too expensive. And other than that it didn’t attract masculine and world famous men either…
