An Aston Martin for Easter

We spotted this Aston DB6 at Techno Classica last week at the Aston Martin Heritage display – well, we couldn’t miss it really – and thought it would fit in nicely with the festivities of this week. Easter is on its way after all.

We have been told this to be the only DB6 Mk1 ever to have left the factory in this particular hue. It’s called Bahama Yellow and you may recognize the colour it from Roger Moore’s DBS in The Persuaders.

We wonder who was brave enough to order the car in this shade? If it was even too much for DB6 celebrity owners such as Paul McCartney (dark green), Jimmy Tarbuck (dark red), Mick Jagger (dark something), Twiggy (unkown colour but dark once more), George Harrison (dark red or so they say), Prince Charles (dark blue), Elle MacPherson (gunmetal grey) and Ralph Lauren (silver grey) this may have been quite an extraordinary figure?
