At this spot we were when the the twin towers were still new.

We will never forget a visit with parents to New York in 1971. The twin towers were close to finished but not yet open to the public as far as I remember. In October 2010 I came back on the same exact spot at The Empire State Building.  The scar in the skyline was still very obvious while the work on the new tower had begun. Not too long from now Libery Tower will be finished. Yet as long and pointed as it is , it will for long remember of that most painfull of all days in America's history. Less remembered will be the introduction of the Ford Pinto on September 11, 1970...
