Camping Topolino

Some time ago we bought this postcard after a painting by Dutch artist Huub Milder. Titled ‘Camping Topolino’ it shows several Fiat’s and a Lancia at a wreck yard. The painting intrigued us, not only of the subject, but we also have an idea where the artist got his idea from. Around 1994, 1995 we drove near the town of Pisa, Italy on the Via Aurelia and there -from a distance- we saw all these cars parked under a large canvas tent. Unfortunately we had no time to stop, so it’s just our interpretation. But does someone else recognized this spot? Maybe the wreck yard is still there? Tell us!
