Auctions America by RM and Carlisle Events have joint forces to organize this year’s Fall Carlisle Auction. Held this coming weekend from September 29-30 there is among the usual lots a great selection of rare 1950's convertibles including the ones shown above. From left to right they are a 1957 Chrysler 300c; 1958 Dodge Coronet Super D-500 and a 1959 DeSoto Firedome. We especially like the Firedome, not only because 299 from the 1178 convertibles built by DeSoto in 1959 were Firedomes, but also it oozes that great 1950s US car styling.
