PostWarClassic of the week: 1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith

The line between cars built before and after WWII can sometimes be strict, but there are always cars that still had their headlights separate from the body, huge grill and the lines from the 40s. In our online marketplace, we saw a stunning 1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Harwood Saloon that is for sale by Garage De Vaal.

"Silver Wraith #WYA75 is an example of an early series of Silver Wraiths that were produced after WW II. The chassis was produced in 1947 and delivered to Harwood Coachworks in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, UK. Quite an effort has been made by famous authors to find out more about this now defunct coachbuilder, however, without result. Only one car has been manufactured by Harwood on a Rolls-Royce or Bentley chassis, making this car a very rare one-off.
The first owner was Mr H. Austin who took delivery of his car in August 1950."
