Remember the Mount St. Helens eruption back in the eighties? It was quite a spectacle when the volcanic mountain collapsed, causing an enormous earthquake with dire consequences. Although parked in a nearby barn, this Delahaye still got covered in a lot of volcanic ash. It’s a 1948 135M with coachwork by Henri Chapron. As it has had just three owners from new, it looks very original. Still covered in ashes, it will be sold by WWG during the 4th Annual Auburn Auction, to be held from September 2nd until 4th. And the good news is that there’s no reserve, so it will go to the highest bidder.
