Fifteen Heads of State for Sale

Here’s your chance to feel like a real Head of State, as tomorrow (February 4th) Artcurial will auction fifteen stately automobiles formerly owned by presidents or other world leaders (click main pic). Of course there’s a Citroën DS 23 Pallas that according to a letter from President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing belonged to the fleet of the Elysée Palace. Then there’s a 1968 Chrysler Imperial Le Baron that comes from the Embassy of the Republic of Gabon and was supposed to be President M'Ba's car. And there’s more: from a Simca Presidency of General de Gaulle to a Zil of Brejnev and last but not least a replica of the Lincoln Continental that was used on the day of John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
