At first glance this may look like an early 1940’s Cadillac of Buick, but it’s not. It’s a 1950 Zim Limousine that was a gift from Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev to Einar Gerhardsen, the Norwegian Prime Minister. The Zim comes from the former Pate Museum of Transportation. The late Aggie Pate spent over 40 years judiciously collecting all manner of vehicles with his brother Sebert, and their passion for transportation resulted in the museum and its associated Pate Swap Meet. Together with 40 other historic cars, this Zim will auctioned by RM this Saturday in Cresson, Texas. Click here to view all the lots.
