From Track to Concours

After 32 years at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan, the Concours d'Elegance of America moved to The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan for this year’s event on Sunday July 31, 2011. The new location will facilitate a larger show field and plenty of opportunities for a robust menu of ancillary events. One of these will be a Track Event at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). But you’ll have to be quick, as it will be held today, Friday July 29th! Owners of classic cars from around the country are bringing their machines to MIS to experience thrill of driving on a high speed raceway. One of these will be the 1958 Lotus Eleven shown on the photo.
