And that’s exactly what many businesses thought when Harley Davidson introduced the Servi-Car in 1931. The quickly saw as an inexpensively tool for delivering small packages using only one person. Even the police departments soon embraced the versatility of the Servi Car for traffic duty. The Servi Car was the longest production run of any Harley Davidson model. They were in continuous production over 42 years ending in 1973. This is a 1959 model that we saw at Auction of America’s Premier Motorcycle Auction that will be held at Las Vegas from January 12th until the 14th.
