How about touring Italy next Summer?

Some classic car rallies sound more appetizing than others and the Carovana Romantica – the 37th to be precise - sounds like one we’d rather not want to tackle with a navigator, but with our other half!

It takes place from June 7th to June 15th next year, but we’ve been informed they are already running out of entries. In over a week’s time entrants srive some 900kms so there’s no rush once your in. The rally roughly runs from the Mont Blanc to the Italian Riviera, only to pass Ligura, Alassio, San Remo plus ‘a sea of vineyards, seaside villages, panoramic views, lush gardens, stunning beaches end a bit of glamour’ in between. Evening entertainment includes dinner shows and musical performances in theatres, castles and monasteries as well as in private residences.

A maximum of 45 classics, built somewhere between 1918 and 1969, is expected. Last year saw crews from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and even from Canada and the USA. More information here.
