How to value this 1962 Facel Vega?

A visual inspection in own person is always best way to assess the exact condition of a classic car prior to purchase. This most certainly counts for the Facel Vega 'by César Baldaccini' depicted above (earlier work of César is the Yellow 1961 Buick) . It is a job for the most ambitious restorer even to consider this project.  On the other hand one can argue that the current art value may be higher than the final restored car minus purchasing and restoration costs... Also you can argue that keeping the car in 'as is' and  'time warp capsule' condition  may the wisest thing to do for the next half century. The next generation of caretakers will know.

For today we just like to know how You valuate the car in its current condition. Basic for that question is of course which type of Facel we're looking at.

It would perhaps be worth something if Mr. Baldaccini was compressed together with the car, however if the man does not walk his talk, we should consider this ''as is'', garbadge.

First of all I can start selling my garage with this lump standing proud in our living room.
However it will be not too good for my bladder so my wife can start knitting a cute pillow to
put on top because it will be rather cold to use it as a chair ;-)

Ceci n'est pas une Vacel Vega.
As for the price, let's say X.If the carte grise is present,2X.
In case this was the car demolished by Jean Paul Sartre, price is XX.

Hans(please leave it as it is)
