Into the crusher!

This is one of those pictures that we could either publish on PreWarCar or on PostWarClassic. Yet we decided to make it post-war, as it clearly shows the fate of many automobiles that during the fifties and sixties were randomly left derelict at street corners. We remember playing in one as a kid. The picture is a still from a great movie on YouTube. Called 'Down in the dumps', it dates from 1965, but those of you with weak hearts had better not watch it. The true horror starts at 4.22!
