Rolf Schau from Norway is intrigued by the Invicta Black Prince story in the recent issue of The Automobile. What a pity the writer was so disappointed in the car! I have been fascinated by this car ever since I saw the two door coupe for sale at an autojumble in Oslo a number of years ago. What an extraordinary car! I never knew what became of it although I believe it spent some time in a Swedish museum. So much greater was my delight when it turned up in the annual run of The Norwegian Veteran Car Club in Oslo last summer! It looked just as wonderful as I had remembered, long and elegant. I did not get around to talking to the driver so I cannot tell if its insides are original Invicta components - but it certainly looked the part. Apart from the photos here it can be seen in the beginning of my little youtube film of the event shot from my little 1937 Morris Eight.
