With a 131-inch wheelbase and Measuring some 229 inches stem to stern, it was a veritable dream boat of baroque themes. It was as distant from its already outrageous 1957 forebear as chalk from cheese, and a far, far cry from the staid 1952-55 models, known as the "Road Race Lincolns" for their success in the Carrera Panamericana road race in Mexico.
