New kid on the block

Historics is a new auction firm based at the famous Brooklands racing track near Weybridge. Their inaugural sale will be on the evening of Wednesday, June 2nd and they already have an impressive line-up of cars. For instance this MG works rally car that is one of the two MGB rally cars built in 1964. It made its racing debut in the Spa-Sofia-Liege rally in August 1964. It went on to compete a further five times as a works entry, at the Tulip Rally, The Acropolis Rally, Geneva Rally, the Castrol Danube Rally and the RAC Rally, all in 1965.
