Two unique DS features only seen in Holland!

On the day after the night before we took the snowwhite X1 sponsor car back to BMW Amsterdam (thanks for the support guys!).  Now we also had the chance to spot this typical dutch scenery. A Citroen DS with a bike which never fits in, but well.. a man has to do what a man has to do. You editor did the same many times in his own DS-past a few decades back. Dutch are not known for a great sense of chauvinism. But we dare to claim this isn't the kind of picture which is easily shot in let's say Paris,  Geneva, London, New York  or Tokyo. And we're proud of it. Amsterdam has a long tradition of DS en ID driving creatives, architects, moviemakers etc. And especially in the seventies and eighties Amsterdam was the world capital of DS ownership. What we presumed was true. This DS was on its way for a fettle at a workshop just around the corner of BMW Amsterdam, the specialist Auto Renaissance.

And if that was not enough of DS memories on one day we spotted this Vermeer like 'painting', a DS in the right multi-tone palet like any urban artist used to have in those days. Amsterdam DS Art.
