PostWar Christmas Puzzle 2013: The Results!

Thanks to you all for the many New Year's wishes. We could see that you enjoyed the Puzzle and last year's stories. In 2014 we'll continue as best as we can. Here are the answers to our Christmas Puzzle. On day1 the propellers were a sure giveaway, it was a 1962 Amphicar of course. Day2 was an easy one, a 1963 Alfa Romeo, as was the 1958 Aston Martin on day 3. We suspected some trouble on day 4, yet many of you correctly recognized the 1953 Goliath GP 700. On day 5 we showed you a 1949 Packard Deluxe Eight Sedan, the Golden Anniversary model. As always day 6 was the most difficult one. Certainly not a Rolls Royce although you might have guessed so from our clue. It was a 1966 Princess VandenPlas, the 4 litre R-type that was powered by a Rolls Royce engine!
We put all your answers in a hat, and took them out one by one until we had six correct answers. They are from: Mireille Devriendt; Alan Spencer; Pablo Grande; Neil Beadle; Frans Vrijaldenhoven and Marlene Mahrer. Congratulations!
