Postwar X-mas Puzzle 2017: the results!

Thank you very much for all the New Year wishes. Judging from your comments you had as much fun solving the puzzle, as we had putting it together. It wasn’t too difficult, as we received many correct answers. We asked for only the names of the marques, but many also gave us the model names. For those few with incorrect answers this is what you should have found (the links refer to what our barnfinds could look today):
An easy one for day 1. Of course it was Citroën Traction Avant. We’re not sure about the year, but it was made after 1952 when the spare wheel was moved behind the boot lid (trunk lid).
On day 2 we showed you a 1949 Fiat Topolino C, a restoration project we started in 1987, but not finished due to a longer stay abroad. After we sold the project, the Topolino was painstakingly restores by its present owner. And no, it wasn’t a Simca built in France (we told you it was Italian!).
Day 3 was a Mercedes 190 SL, built from 1955 until 1963.
The photo from day 4 of the abandoned cars was made by us, way back in the early 1980s. The now much sought after cars are Lancia’s, the Flavia Series I coupé.
On day 5 we showed you a 1949 Kaiser Frazer, the Model 'Rotterdam de Luxe' that was assembled in The Netherlands by Nekaf (sorry, website in Dutch only).
The last day of our six-day puzzle was probably the hardest to solve as many thought it was a Mercedes 300 Adenhauer. No, it was a Horch 830 BL. The chassis dates from 1938, but its coachwork was made in 1953. Click here for the story.
Okay, now for the winners… we threw all your answers in the proverbial hat and took them out one by one until we had four winners. They are: Roger Hermsen; Bernard Correge; Jan van den Berg and Gerd Klioba.
