Pre-Brexit sales. A final chance?

Brexit is nearing now and it could well affect the classic car scene (tomorrow we will show you an overview with changes that may take place in the classic car scene due to the leave).

Today we look at an auction that takes place in the UK less than a month prior to the Brexit. It is a sale by Historics Auctioneers that will take place on the 2nd of March at Brooklands - speaking about historic British locations. And it offers lots of nostalgia from the sceptred island.

You'll find plenty of Jags, MG’s, Rolls-Royces and a sole Interceptor (in a lovely shade of blue). Oh, and for the real eccentrics, there’s this AF Spider, built for barn find hunter avant la lettre Collin Crabbe…

Extremely Britsih in all senses is a lavish Bentley S1 that was owned (and styled, or so she said) by Lady Norah Docker. She was a former nightclub dancer, who married Sir Bernard Docker in 1949 and became director of Hooper soon after. When the tabloids hit The Times…

Another coach built S1 Bentley, this one by Park Ward and very pretty – we think.

Or… for something completely different… the fastest milk float in the world. With its TVR-sourced 4.2 litre V8 this milk float, built as a promotional vehicle for Weetabix, is fully MOT’d. Only in the UK… but for how long..? See it here.

Oh, and this one is very British also. A reproduction of Austin Powers’ Shaguar’ based on a 1997 XK8 Convertible. With no estimate possibly the last real British auction steal..?
