Rétromobile 2020: Fiskens are off to Paris!

It’s that time of the year again the unmissable spectacle that is Rétromobile! Fiskens are ready to unveil a full stand which we believe to be one of our greatest yet.  With the ever-changing market, our ability to attract the finest and most important motor cars in the world continues. Last year's strong results prove that even when the market appears dubious, the best-in-class automobiles continue to sell. 

As a new decade dawns we look forward to continuing the success that we have shared with our clients, friends, and fellow enthusiasts to date. This year has got off to a flying start with the sale of the incredibly rare 1964 Iso Grifo A3/C Bizzarrini and the 1952 ex-Stirling Moss Jaguar XK120. With two sales already under our belt, 2020 could be Fiskens best year to date!

Back at the Mews, Tavoya continues her work as a key part of the Fiskens team since joining in August.  Tavoya has had a passion for all things automotive since childhood and is immersing herself in the ever-changing stock at Fiskens, whilst also ensuring the smooth running of Sales, Logistics and Retromobile preparations.

In January we were delighted to welcome Christoff Cowens as our new Sales Executive. Christoff brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge and has a particular passion for vintage and veteran automobiles. With a successful background in Sales, Christoff has already hit the ground running and is looking forward to seeing faces old and new at Retromobile 2020!

New Office Manager Kim Small has also joined Fiskens this month and is already doing a fantastic job at keeping the team in check during the run up to Retromobile. Having a wealth of experience spanning finance and private equity, Kim has enthusiastically embraced the world of classic cars and is looking forward to introducing herself on the Fiskens stand at Retromobile. 

Following Kate Matthews’ exciting news, we are happy to announce that Kate welcomed a baby boy at the beginning of this year. The team are very much looking forward to meeting him soon! 

Once again we look forward to welcoming many of you to our stand at Retromobile situated in our usual location (Pavilion 1, number M063) where Fiskens will reveal an eclectic collection of 14 very special cars covering 80 years of automotive history, one of which is returning to France for the first time since 1954.

Salon Retromobile is open from 5th to 9th February 2020 at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles. For those of you who are not able to attend on this occasion, the full collection, announced by email next week, will be available to view at the Mews upon our return from Wednesday 12th February 2020 onwards.
