Reliant, the perfect rally car, or...?

During the recent recce for the Peak of the Atlas we came across this not too common rally car on the way from Blackpool to Timbuktu. The Dakar Challenge is open for any scrap car and to any individual  with a certain open attitude to an uncommon advanture. The Reliant seems the ideal car for such a challenge but here, high in the Atlas, it had some minor mechanical problems, requiring a complete engine replacement. But don’t be fooled by its appearances, the Reliant is a very versatile automobile and has achieved greater heights than the Atlas mountains. If you don’t have a Reliant and would still fancy to witness the grandeur of the Atlas, then you will have to join the Peak of the Atlas, the Moroccan Challenge in November.
