It’s kind of sad that Range Rovers have somehow become mandatory for school runs, or so it seems. These extraordinary vehicles were originally intended for country farmers to be used in puddles of mud throughout the week, only to be rinsed off quickly (inside too) for the weekend to take the family out, visit the town cinema or take to a shooting party - a car for all reasons.
That’s all changed. Range Rovers are now bought by a different kind of clientele, which seems to be more interested in its country style rather than country capacities. In many cases the school run has indeed become its prime use.
It does makes us wonder: were you brought to school by car? We weren’t, but we’ve heard the story of the boy who was driven to school in this car. He alledgedly asked his dad to park it around the block out of utter shame! We like the lady in the Mini above, too. That certainly gets you there in style.
