It may have been named after a wind but the weather conditions appear to have been kind to this Maserati Mistral. According to the seller it has been parked in an east-American storage (praise him for withstanding the use of the word ‘barn’ here) for the last 36 years where the elements were kind to it. Okay, somehow it lost its four-litre six-cylinder powertrain but at least the straight-six, needing full restoration, still comes with the car.
It also has the rare airconditioning, which is a nice factory option for when the hot winds became a bit too much. It’s up for sale at no reserve with these guys, who offer it in their May 30 sale. Now buyers, please restore this still underestimated Maser and do not turn it into another 300S replica. It’s way too nice for that. Besides - you know girls love them, especially in this blue
