This time of year is good for several indoor motor shows, and they are not the big ones you hear about so often. Sure. Padua is just behind us, as is the NEC Classic Motor show, with Essen and Paris to follow rapidly. But how about the slightly smaller ones? First there is Retro Classics Cologne in Germany from 15 to 18 November including an auction by Classicbid on the 17th. They do love to brag a bit about their importance and size though, and call themselves ‘the noblest and most important address on the international vintage car scene’ without a blink.
But there is more. The next weekend you’ll find the circus of Milano AutoClassica, which looks certainly interesting too. Even if it was for the fact that it’s only around the corner from Zagato’s factory in Rho, Italy. The show will be held from 23 to 25 November, while that same Sunday the Automobilia Börse München takes place, some 500 kilometres further up north in the BMW Welt museum for the fans of all cars, but not the actual cars.
Last but not least there is Retro Classics Bavaria in Nürnberg, Germany from 7 to 9 December. Dubbed ‘World wide the largest oldtimer show’, the Retro Classics concept is now rolled out to a number of venues and we expect to see even more of them in the future.
