When in the late 1950s American designers started thinking about compact models, the pickup trucks and vans had to follow suit. In 1961 Chevrolet came up with this Corvair 95 pickup, which had forward control and a rear-mounted engine based on the earlier introduced Chevrolet Corvair passenger car. Too bad the concept never really caught on and in the final model year of 1964, only 851 pickups and vans were sold, which makes them quite rare nowadays.
