Eduard Hattuma from Holland is a real expert when it comes to photographing and identifying 1950s automobiles. So he had absolutely no problem to recognize the small van as a 1952 Opel Olympia. And he was even more delighted when he found an original photo of the same van in its infancy years. Notice that it still sports the name of the original shop! But when studying his photographs Eduard noticed something he had never really looked at before... the Opel's logo. The yellow and white background is familiar and can also be seen in other Opel emblems, but this one seems to sport a crown (?). And are those three 'things' feathers? Or a phantasy? Browsing Opel books brought no solution, so Eduard (and we) are asking your help. Who can explain this mystery logo?
