This weekend (Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th of August) the wonderful event Classic Days in Schloss Dyck, Germany takes place and this is a rather good way to get out of the daily grind.
The highlights of this year will be 100 years of Bentley, 110 years of Bugatti, 125 years of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport, 50 years of Porsche 917, 50 years of Ford Capri and of course the usual ingredients like Jewels in the Park and Racing legends. A big garden party with likeminded people doesn’t that sound attractive to you?!
PreWarCar.com & PostWarClassic.com will be present, on the Apfelwiese, stand nr. 305. And we are bringing some treats:
If you’ve been at Classic Days in 2018, you might have seen this unrestored and running car. As it won the class of unrestored cars.
The car was delivered new to Mr. Berglöf of Kopparberg, Sweden and it was put aside by the family in the 1950s. The BMW was found in a barn a couple of years ago and has been brought in a drivable condition. It is now for sale by one of our advertisers and is definitely something you would like to see in real.
When we think of a German car, Porsche quickly comes to our mind and indeed, this car feels at home at Schloss Dyck. The Porsche 365 pre-A is in excellent condition. It has been restored in the 1980s in Italy and recently underwent massive work for the final touch to show it here at the event. Originally the car was delivered on 4 February 4 1954 in New York and is now on our stand (Apfelwiese, stand nr. 305) at Classic Days.
We hope to meet you there. If you are, for whatever reason, not able to come, we will try to keep you updated in the coming days. We will post photos and movies on the website, Facebook and Instagram. If you would like to see a certain car or class, please let us know and we will do our best for you.
