Tough to crack car puzzle #115

Ouch! Things don’t look too good for this week’s mystery motor. And, indeed, this fabulous sports car was written off very early in its life. A real pity as it brought together two of the greater names in post war motor sports circles. Question is: which ones? We are giving no clues this time as we are pretty sure you’ll be able to find out more about them – both of them being very active to this day. So do take us by surprise with your knowledge about this lost little gem. Oh – hang on. In fact it does survive in a way. Well, not the original car seen here but something very faithful. Silly talk to you? Then get out to that motoring library as you’ll be able to crack this nut. Already know all about it? Then do share your best facts and figures to win that piece of fabulous PostWarCar fashion to show off this Summer. Post your answers in the box below before Monday August 10. Check the Rules under 'Read More' first. Enjoy the weekend for now!

The Rules:
1. Post your answer BEFORE Monday, August 10
2. Use no more than 100 words
3. Unless otherwise stated there is ONE winner
4. Be sure to mention if you were an earlier winner (1, 2 or Judge)
5. THREE time winners automatically become jury member, but there is no obligation in any way
6. Check next week Saturday if you are a winner and then provide us with your mailing address. Send it to: info *at* prewarcar.com
