Tough to crack car puzzle #159

We believe all of you will know the car seen here. And, yes, it surely is an Alfa Romeo. But when you know your Alfas you will have spotted this is not an Alfa as we know it. There’s something strange with it, isn’t there? And it’s not just the front that was converted. The instrumentation, seating, paint, soundproofing and brightwork were all taken care off too, turning this into an Alfa with a name of its own. Tuning was an option as well. Question is who was responsible for this all. And when. And what they called it. Oh – and you’ll think of something else to mention, we’re sure. Personally we have never seen a survivor of this breed, but are told at least one has stood the test of time. We’d love to learn more about that too.
