Impossible to crack? Puzzle #108, a total Mystery? (Upd: 1948 Simca 8 built by Spohn)

Not one serious answer came in to "Tough to Crack"# 108. It is hard to imagine that nobody knows about this car. So once more we ask you to check your memory, your files and your car sleuthing talents... Our guess is that the austrian license plate may get you in the right direction. Could it be Sodomka, or one of those rare Swiss coachbuilders?
