Tough to Crack Puzzle # 50

Time for an easy puzzle! Although when we think it's easy, we hardly get any answers. So prove us wrong this time as the car, on which this cabriolet was based , is a very ordinary automobile from a large manufacturer. The basic model was introduced in 1950 and exported to many countries, although never to the UK. Yet for a large manufacturer this model wasn't sold in big numbers and we have no idea how many of the cabriolet version were made. We have taken out a bit of the car's surroundings, but no photoshop on the car itself, it's the real deal. So tell us the make and model. More information is always welcome as it will help decide the winner, but please, please use no more than 100 words!
