We shouldn’t be giving too many clues as this mystery motor should be pretty well known among enthusiasts. Perhaps not so strange when you consider it's a prototype for a model which eventually lead to one of the greater successes in automotive history - one that’s actually still going very strong today. That makes it the more extraordinary that this car, exactly as shown here, was found some 15 years ago in an overgrown front garden – together with a second similar vehicle! Both of them are now saved with this one being kept in the ‘as found’ condition.
