Two happy couples seemingly enjoying a holiday in their cabriolet. At least we presume the fourth passenger is taking the photograph. But what are they driving? It’s a make that was known pre-war and revived in the 1950s for light-commercials. Then a saloon followed, a cabriolet and a bit later also a station wagon. Despite its giant size (click!), this vehicle had a small 688 cc two stroke engine, mounted sideways in the chassis and coupled to the front wheels, not unlike the later Austin and Morris Mini. Despite the good looks of the car, the little engine prohibited large sales and a later addition of fuel injection didn’t help much either. To win the PostWarClassic T-shirt, tell us the make and the model, and preferably everything else you know about this car. Please do so before Monday May 2nd by using the Contact Form and please use no more than 100 words.
