After yesterday’s mystery Volvo, we like to share some more classic Volvo-related news with you here. A barn full of classic Volvos and parts was unearthed in rural Sweden last week. Well, it was not exactly a barn to be precise but a disused iron mill dating back to the 18th century. Quite a place! But the stuff gathered inside is what really got us here.
The Volvo collection is owned by a former Volvo dealer and counts around 60 cars, most of them which will need a full restoration. It is restricted to 444-, 445-, 210-, 121- and 140-series Volvos. According to barnfinds.com, who spoke to the owner of the whole lot, the plan is to secure at least part of the collection for the future, perhaps in the shape of a museum featuring his own favourites.
