Where raced this Ferrari 166 Inter? (Upd. 1950 Watkins Glen ?or at Sebring? )

We received this photo of what we think is a Ferrari 166 Inter waiting at the grid of a track somewhere, some time.  There is no information whatsoever with the photo. So we have to hang on what you and we can see. As a start, we think the whole atmosphere is North American. But possibly you recognise the location. Maybe you recognise one of the bystanders. Or maybe you have an old racing program or magazine clippings reporting about a Ferrari 166 with starting number 17... Surprise us!
