Why is it that whenever you go to the office on a Monday morning, everybody else also decided to take the car? It makes it impossible to find a parking spot. A little comfort might be that it has always been like that, at least when we look at this parking somewhere in Amsterdam (can you ID more than 10 other cars?). We think the picture was taken around 1947-1948; most automobiles are still pre-war, but there’s a 1946 Chevrolet Fleetmaster circling around for an empty spot. The owner of the pre-war Opel Kadett is lucky with parking, but why is it that some people always need two places?
