This is the story about two men who became friends after they found out they each own a car that was formerly owned by the other. Here you see the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing (#282) once owned by Steve Hamilton and now since 28 years in the hands of Peter Irlenborn. On the other hand the Voisin C28 Berline left Peter and came in the hands of Steve hamilton... Peter sent one photo of the time the car still was with Steve, parked side by side with another "Gullwing"(click). The attentive observer may have noticed that car now has the standard wheels and not the knock offs like before 1982. For that read Peter's full report.
