A triple mystery: 'his car ... our car ... your car'

Always when we pick up a snapshot at a fleamarket (like with the one above) we try to imagine what the story is. And sometimes a few words hastily written on the back tell you all you need to know.
Well that's exactly what the guy who shot this picture did. On the back of the photo he wrote
'his car........... our car .........your  car'. WE take it that this note made everything totally clear to him and to the one who receive the photo presumably Mr. Your Car. But what their relation was?. Brothers? Friends? Clubmembers? 
Probably more interesting and a lot easier to resolve is the question which cars are depicted from left to right.
