The Ferrari 550 Maranello marked a return to the classic front-engined V12 grand tourer formula that had defined some of Maranello's greatest road cars. Elegant, understated and powered by a glorious 5.5 litre naturally aspirated V12, the 550 combined genuine long-distance usability with exhilarating performance and is now widely regarded as one of Ferrari's finest modern classics.

Presented in the timeless and sophisticated combination of Grigio Nürburgring metallic over a Bordeaux leather interior, this example has covered just 43,000 miles from new and remains a wonderfully appealing example of Ferrari's celebrated V12 GT. The restrained exterior colour perfectly complements the Pininfarina-designed bodywork, whilst the rich Bordeaux interior provides a welcome contrast and creates a cabin of genuine occasion.

The current owner acquired the car in 2021 and has covered approximately 1,000 miles during his stewardship. Having enjoyed the car sparingly, he has now decided it is time for a new enthusiast to experience one of Ferrari's last truly analogue grand tourers. Importantly, the Maranello is offered to sale fresh from maintenance carried out by respected specialist Stradale Italia on 22nd June 2026. Works completed in preparation for the auction included an engine oil and filter service, brake fluid replacement, air conditioning service, adjustment of the passenger door window mechanism to ensure correct operation and replacement of a rubber exhaust mounting. As such, the car is presented ready to be used and enjoyed immediately by its next owner.

The accompanying history file contains a comprehensive service record and includes an invoice from Stradale Italia in 2022. During this work the gearbox was removed to facilitate replacement of the starter motor and, while access was available, both the clutch and flywheel were also renewed. Fewer than 1,000 miles have been covered since these works were completed, providing welcome reassurance to prospective purchasers.

Offered with an MoT test certificate valid until June 2027, this low-mileage 550 Maranello represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire one of Ferrari's most admired modern classics.
