Produced in limited numbers between 1992 and 1996, the BMW 850 CSi is widely regarded as the ultimate evolution of the E31 8 Series and one of BMW Motorsport's finest grand tourers. Powered by a hand-assembled 5.6-litre V12 producing 375bhp, driving exclusively through a six-speed manual gearbox, the CSi received extensive chassis, suspension and aerodynamic revisions that transformed it into a genuinely sporting GT. Today it is rightly recognised as one of the most collectible modern BMWs, with just 160 right hand drive examples built.

This exceptional right hand drive example is finished in stunning Individual Techno Violet Metallic, an extraordinarily rare special-order colour confirmed by the accompanying 'Sonderlack' plaque beneath the bonnet. It is believed to be the only right hand drive example finished in this striking shade, with a further 12 built in left hand drive, complemented by a beautiful two-tone leather interior in Dark Grey with Light Silvergrey seat centres. The combination is both distinctive and highly elegant, setting this CSi apart from the vast majority finished in more conventional colours.

Having covered just 71,000 miles from new, the car has clearly enjoyed a cherished life and is presented in excellent condition throughout. The accompanying history file documents an excellent maintenance record, reflecting careful ownership and the attention these highly specialised V12 models deserve.
